    Hi Anne,

    Thanks for reaching out. This seems to be a padding issue with your buttons in your Crio Pro WordPress theme.

    I’m not sure what caused it but I used this bit of custom CSS to add a bit padding. You can add this CSS snippet to the CSS/JS Editor section of the WordPress Customizer:

    .btn:not(.btn-small):not(.btn-tiny) {
        padding: 10px;
    }

    Hi Anne,

    Thanks for reaching out with your Crio Pro WordPress theme questions!

    If you deleted template files by mistake you can simply download the Crio WordPress theme again from the WordPress Repository and reinstall it on your site and it will restore all code that was removed.

    We recommend using a plugin like Code Snippets to modify code instead of editing template files directly, that way you won’t lose any of your edits when the theme is updated.

    To begin troubleshooting I have some questions for you:

    1.) Is this your first time installing Total Upkeep Premium on your WordPress website or did this issue occur after your initial site backup?

    2.) Do you have the standard Total Upkeep plugin installed and activated as well on your site? (this is required)

    3.) Does your error message provide any additional information? If so can you copy/paste it into the thread here so that we can inspect it?

    Hi Nelson,

    Thanks for reaching out with and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!

    Our team had a discussion about a similar issue recently and we were able to identify that JetPack was one plugin that was causing this issue. I’m not sure if you’re running that plugin but if so please try try temporarily deactivating it and checking your customizer.

    You should also temporarily deactivate any caching or security plugins you may be running to troubleshoot this issue. You’ll want to be sure you’re running the most up to date version of WordPress Core, Crio Theme and Your Crio Premium plugin as well.

    If you don’t see any results after deactivating Jetpack you can further your troubleshooting by deactivating all plugins one by one with the exception of BoldGrid plugins to see there’s another problematic plugin causing the error. Try accessing the customizer after each deactivation.

    Hi Hamad,

    You are correct to find the 404.php file and modify the code there but as you stated when the theme updates you’ll lose those modifications.

    What you can do instead is place your code into a Code Snippets plugin or create a child theme that will and add the 404 page there.

    Can you give us more detail on the issue you were having with Total Upkeep? We’re happy and thankful to see you host with our premium partner InMotion Hosting but we don’t actually have the ability to view your tickets with them.

    In your case this sounds like it could be some type of malicious activity. It’s very odd that you’re constantly getting locked our of your admin area. Are you able to request a malware scan from your web host?

    You may also want to try changing all admin level passwords if you’re not changing the credentials with each reset.

    I’m so sorry for the delay on this, the response was publish but it looks like no one got it. In your case this sounds like it could be some type of malicious activity.     I’m not too familiar with Pluginception but I inspected a bit and it looks like it hasn’t been updated for functionality with the latest WordPress version 6.2.

    You may want to use a plugin like Code Snippets to add your functionality or create the plugin from scratch using a code editor.

    I checked out your page and I see you’re not using any BoldGrid products. That is why you’re not seeing the same options. This forum is for BoldGrid product such as our Crio Pro WordPress theme.

    Thanks for reaching out, I understand your concern here. What you likely need is a file management plugin installed on your WordPress site.

    One that works well with your Crio Pro WordPress theme is the Filester plugin. When you install this plugin you’ll have the ability to create and organize your media into folders.

    So happy to hear you managed to get this resolved. I’ve never seen this happen it’s possible a new bug that’s occurred since the BoldGrid Gallery plugin settings were incorporated into BoldGrid Post and Page Builder.

    This issue definitely is something worth testing and bringing to our developers attention. Can you tell us what type of file was the problematic one causing the issue?

    That’s interesting, have you checked the Responsive Utilities in your page builder? There’s a possibility that your elements are set to hidden on some or all device sizes by mistake.

    If you hover over your page do you see the section and row tabs appear on the page? Are you able create a new section section in the page editor?

    What you can do to test the Responsive Utilities theory is switch through the device icons using the desktop, tablet, and phone views in your page builder to see if the elements appear on any other device size. You can also test this by create a brand new section and filling it with content to see if it appears.

    Thanks for reaching out with your WordPress questions. I think this goes a bit beyond the scope of BoldGrid support. We offer support for our WordPress products such as Crio Pro WordPress theme and BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress but your issue seems to be a hosting level concern.

    You should reach out to your web host for further assistance in updating your PHP version. It could possibly deal with your Cloudflare configuration but we’d have no way of actually verifying this information which is why your web host is the best resource.

    Hi Courtney!

    Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions! I think one of two things might be happening here:

    First, if you have the Post and Page Builder plugin installed and active you should notice the Visual and Text editor tabs towards the top right corner of the page editor.

    post and page builder swith to text option

    If the Text editor option is selected just switch over to the Visual editor tab and it should allow you to view and edit visual blocks as normal.

    The second possibility is your preferred editor has been changed. If this is the case you can follow this guide to help you switch your preferred editor back to BoldGrid Post and Page Builder.

    I tried the site on my personal mobile device and the images do appear to be hidden on the actual device exactly as you mentioned. I tested images in our dev enviroment on my end and did not get the same result.

    You can try replacing the images in the section then updating the page, or adding a new section to the page with the same exact content to see if it displays on a live mobile device.

    The fact that your images are displaying on other pages lead me to think its something with the this pages HTML specifically.

    I’m sorry to hear you’re getting excessively locked out of your WordPress website. I want to be sure we’re understanding the issue correctly. When you go to access your WordPress site from the admin area you’re repeatedly being asked to sign in again? Is this the error or is it something else?

    You can also try purging temporarily deactivating any caching plugins you have running I noticed this WPFC-minified is modifying some scripts so that may play a part in why this is error is occurring.

    We just set up WP Download Manager in a Crio dev environment and did not experience any issues creating or downloading the file. Where exactly is the download creation process stalling out for you?

    You should also verify that that your WordPress Core, Crio Theme, WP File Manager plugin and BoldGrid Post and Page Builder page editor plugin are all up to date.

    If you receive this error while creating a backup, it means that the backup process was interrupted but without any errors being thrown. Typically, this is due to exceeding some limitation of your hosting account, such as Memory, CPU, Disk Input/Output, or a timeout.

    Try creating a sanity check backup just to see if backups are completing at all and check your Pre-Flight Check for any obvious issues.

    I noticed you’re running a php_zip compressor type for your backups. Try changing your compressor type to a System Zip or PclZip. Navigate to Total Upkeep > Settings > Backup Process. If System Zip is available, choose that option. System Zip is significantly faster than the PclZip or ZipArchive libraries, and may use fewer resources. Attempt to create another backup using the Default compression level.

    If the backup still fails, try reducing the Compression Level. A setting of 0 will not compress the backup at all, using the lowest amount of CPU and memory. This does mean that the Disk Input/Output is increased due to the larger file size, however.

    Thanks for reaching out and thanks for using the Grid One theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

    I don’t think your issue is due to caching you can try purging cache and then deactivating the W3 Total Cache plugin altogether to test this.

    When did you first notice this issue occurring? Was it after a WordPress core or plugin update? You mentioned you were running WordPress version 6.1.1. could you try updating to the latest version (6.2) and then see if your able to access the footer widgets in the customizer?

    If you don’t mind sending a list of your active plugins we can test this issue on our end to see if we can replicate the error and address it directly.

    I think more importantly this issue could be because you’re using Grid One which is considered a BoldGrid V1 (legacy) theme. The V1 themes only are no longer support and only receive minimal updates. We recommend everyone switch to Crio Pro WordPress theme which has the Grid One theme built into the BoldGrid Inspirations plugin. Crio comes with over 400 customizable option specifically custom header and footer control that I think would be most beneficial to you.

    Thanks for reaching out and thank you for hosting with our premium partner DreamHost! From what you’re explaining it sounds like you’re having trouble accessing your BoldGrid Central account.

    Your login credentials should be exactly the same as the one’s you would use to access your DreamHost hosting account. Once you access BoldGrid Central you should see Total Upkeep and your other plugin in the “Plugins” dashboard.

    You may want to reach out directly JetPack support. They may be able to assist you further if there’s something preventing you from accessing the premium feature of their plugin.

    You’re likely not the only person who’s experienced this issue and they may be able to provide you with a resolution.

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for reaching out with your Crio Pro WordPress theme questions! How to change background images is actually a pretty common question, definitely not silly at all.

    You can change the background image on your homepage by pulling up the page in the BoldGrid Post and Page Builder page editor. Select the section that holds the image by hovering over the image and using the black “DropTab” that appears to select “Background”.

    Using the “background” tab you’ll have control over background images, colors, animations and so on.

    The redirects you see are completely safe, the redirect could be caused by some protocol method such as http:// to https://. It won’t effect your site but you may want to run an official caching plugin such as W3 Total Cache which will allow you to defer or exclude these types files altogether.

    No worries on the delay we definitely understand that life happens. I actually was able to download the backup file from Google Drive. I can’t tell if the file is corrupted without attempting to restore myself but it is good news that the download is completing.

    Have you tried following this guide on restoring large backups in Total Upkeep? You’ll have to scroll down a bit but you’ll see the section in the guide.

    If the restoration fails Navigate to Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs and look for the log with a filename similar to restore-XXXXXXXX.log and a timestamp corresponding to the restoration that failed.
