August 2, 2022 at 12:20 pm in reply to: How do I add recent Posts to my home page in Crio WordPress theme? #55738Brandon CKeymasterHi Ksenia,
I think the menu item in your header navigation is linked to a static “home” page and that’s why it’s not the reflecting the “Blog Post” index page you selected.
What you should do is visit the “Menus” section of your dashboard and change that menu items URL to your primary domain
https://www.kseniabasavina.com/
instead ofhttps://www.kseniabasavina.com/home/
and it should change that menu item to display the correct page when clicked.I hope this helps Ksenia!
August 1, 2022 at 1:53 pm in reply to: General questions on Total Upkeep Backups and Migrations plugin #55725Brandon CKeymasterHi Praneethraj,
Thanks for reaching out with your Total Upkeep backups and migrations questions.
I’ll try as best I can to give you a detailed breakdown of your questions but I do want to you know that while it seems like security is your primary concern, that is not really what total upkeep is designed for.
Total Upkeep makes backups and helps with update management, but there’s no scanning for malicious files or real time threat prevention measures.
1) Do your plugin find/identify malicious and misconfigured or wordpress files infected with javascript (eval() obfuscated codes) by injection attack target. such as htaccess, index.php.
No, our plugin does not assist or detect security vulnerabilities such as malicious and misconfigured or wordpress files infected with malware.
2) Are there real time detection and prevention methods ?
No again Total Upkeep’s specific focus is file backup and site migrations.
3) Will your plugin only change / replace the affected file from backup without downtime of the website?
Since the plugin cannot detect infected files, there wouldn’t be a way for it to automatically replace it.
4) Will your plugin keep a backup of the infected file for the user/company team to investigate ?
You can setup manual backups and well as automated backups with Total Upkeep and store them on your web server. If you happen to take a backup where infected files are present then yes, it will be stored on your web server.
5) Does your plugin detect file permission changes and rewrite it with necessary one / take necessary actions?
As far as I know file permissions are set at the server level
6) What is the restore time taken to get the website live back to normal and working?
The restore time depends on the backup size and available web server resources but most restorations finish in less than a minute In my experience.
7) what are the terms of no downtime policy if available? Will it work normally? or cache images?
I’m not exactly sure of the downtime policy you’re referring to, normally that would be something you’d need to speak with your web hosting provider about. They may be able to assist in the matter.
8) If there is no downtime option? Then how does it work, what is the guarantee we rely on? is it a hot, warm or cold backup downtime manager?
I apologize, I’m not familiar with hot, warm, or could backup downtime managers. Maybe you could elaborate on this.
9) Does it run cron jobs? what is the resource load it consumes for that instance?
Total Upkeep allows you to schedule backups with cron jobs, and it uses either crontab (system cron) or WP Cron for managing those schedules.
There is another cron that Total Upkeep creates automatically that runs every 5 minutes. That cron checks for backup files that need to be uploaded to third party storage locations and uploads them, but it only does so for scheduled backups. Manual backups are never uploaded automatically, at least not currently.
If you’re looking for a security solution you might want to try Wordfence Security plugin or even the All in One plugin suite (now Team Updraft) as these may better fit your needs.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.

Brandon CKeymasterHi Sherri,
Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!
I inspected your website and I want you to know you did a great job on the design! On inspection I noticed that many of your issues seem to have already been resolved, but lets break them down just to be sure.
1.) Maintenance Mode – I don’t see that the site is in maintenance mode, you normally get that when an update of some type is running on the backend of your site and it clears once the update completes.
2.) Centering the title on your home page – This can be done using the Post and Page Builder editor. You would need to select the text and use the center icon in your editor widget just above the content to center it.
3.) Repeating Hero Image – This seems to be resolved as well but it should be as simple as editing each page and removing the image manually.
4.) Editable Events Calendar – I’m not sure which plugin you chose here but it could be something inside of the plugin settings that you can modify to build your functionality. I’m pretty sure the The Events Calendar plugin has this functionality out of the box.
I hope I’ve answered everything for you Sherri! Please don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions for us.
August 1, 2022 at 11:35 am in reply to: I would like you to look at my WordPress site and make any recommendations on how to improve it #55713Brandon CKeymasterHi Yves,
Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress questions. I’m sorry to hear you’re having a bit of trouble but let’s see if we can help you out!
I tried inspecting the first URL but it seems to be generating an error of some sort. I was, however able to review the second URL and my major suggestion here is, if you’re planning on using the Post and Page Builder as your primary page builder you should consider switching to a BoldGrid theme such as Crio Pro WordPress theme for compatibility purposes.
Crio comes out of the box with over 400 fully featured customizable options. I see you don’t have much content on the second URL now so if you were to make this change I think now would be the best time.
August 1, 2022 at 10:13 am in reply to: How do I adjust image sizes in my Crio WordPress theme? #55710Brandon CKeymasterThanks Mark!
Sorry I’m not getting that on my end it looks like your images on your homepage are stretching the full width of the page. You may want to try clearing any cache associated with your website (including browser cache and any server side cache), and then reload your homepage to see if it reflects you changes.
August 1, 2022 at 10:07 am in reply to: How do I add recent Posts to my home page in Crio WordPress theme? #55707Brandon CKeymasterHi Ksenia,
Thanks for reaching out and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!
I’m sorry to hear you’re having some issues but lets see if we can help you out!
I inspected your website and I see there’s a err_connection_reset error which is normally specifically tied to Google Chrome browsers. Here’s a guide from Kinsta on how to resolve the issue.
As far as your page edits not displaying properly you may want to try clearing any cache associated with your website (including browser cache and any server side cache), and then reload your homepage to see if it reflects you changes.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.
July 29, 2022 at 12:25 pm in reply to: How do I adjust image sizes in my Crio WordPress theme? #55665Brandon CKeymasterHi Marc,
Thank you for reaching out with your Crio Pro WordPress theme questions!
I inspected your page at the URL you attached in the thread and it looks like your images are stretching the full width of the page so I’m assuming you may already gotten this resolved. Normally when I see this issue its more than likely a matter of adjusting the padding or margin of one one of your elements.
We do have a guide on working with images in Post and Page Builder if you would like more info on adding and editing images in your theme.
Please don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions for us.
Brandon CKeymasterHi Tim,
Thanks a lot for reaching out and thank you for hosting with our premium partner DreamHost! You should be able to access your BoldGrid Central account to locate your access keys.
You’d just need to visit the site and use your DreamHost username and password to login, then navigate to the “connect keys” section where you should see all of your connect keys.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.

Did you also try switching your preferred editor? It’s possible it was changed back to the classic WordPress editor at some point. The guide linked above will explain how to switch your preferred page/post editor back to the BoldGrid Post and Page Builder.
I hope this helps Q!

July 26, 2022 at 12:18 pm in reply to: How do I create a child theme for BoldGrid Monument WordPress theme? #55596Brandon CKeymasterHi Phyllis,
Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Monument theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!
I think you may have done everything correctly but you do need to place your child theme inside of a .zip file before attempting to upload to your site.
You can also try using a free WordPress child theme generator to accomplish your task. I hope this helps!
July 25, 2022 at 2:30 am in reply to: I’m No Longer Able To Edit My Website Using Post & Page Builder Visual Editor #55552Brandon CKeymasterHi Q,
No worries! Thanks for reaching back out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions. I reviewed our previous thread. Have you tried any of the steps listed there?
Thanks Q, OK I see you're using the Pavilion theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress. It looks like you're actually page content is still laid out correctly and that's a good thing. Have you updated either recently? Or your WordPress core? If so, try using WP Rollback to rollback to a previous version where the Post and Page builder functionality was working properly. I wanted to ask, did you notice this issue only on a singular page or is it present on all pages and posts in your theme?
We look forward to assisting your further with this.
July 25, 2022 at 2:23 am in reply to: How do I create a form using BoldGrid Post and Page Builder? #55550Brandon CKeymasterHi Gary,
Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions.
I definitely understand your need for a simple quoting system for sons new business! We actually have our own form builder plugin “WeForms” that integrates seamlessly with Post and Page Builder. You wouldn’t need to upgrade to premium setup a simple form to use for quotes.
Just set up your form and WeForms will add a new “block component” to your page builder to allow you to easily add it to any page.
I hope this helps Gary! Please let us know if there’s anything else that we can answer for you.

July 25, 2022 at 2:09 am in reply to: How Do I Hide The Special Thanks Link In Crio WordPress Theme Footer? #55544Brandon CKeymasterHi Mark!
Thanks for reaching out with your Crio Pro WordPress theme questions!
You should be able to do this without using custom CSS. If you navigate to your WordPress Customize section Customize < Design < Footer < Layout you should see the option there to uncheck the “Attribution” box.
I hope this helps! Don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions for us.
July 25, 2022 at 1:57 am in reply to: Is it possible to display custom post fields created with ACF? #55541Brandon CKeymasterHi Peter!
Thanks for reaching out and thanks for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!
The answer to your question is yes, but there is some configuration involved with adding advanced custom fields. You’d need to set up HTML to structure your fields and add the correct code to pull the fields in to your content.
I was able to follow this article created by InMotion Hosting and setup custom fields in my testing environment. Maybe this could serve as a guide that you can follow to help complete your project.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.

July 22, 2022 at 10:21 am in reply to: Receiving an error when attempting to restore a website with Total Upkeep #55486Brandon CKeymasterHi Hannelore,
Generally speaking, the PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT error means that the backup archive was somehow corrupt.
We might be able to determine what went wrong based on the archive log on your main site. Navigate to Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs and look for the log file with a name like
archive-XXXXX.log
and the timestamp corresponding to when you took the backup. We’re looking for the last few lines of that log, where you should see a message like Backup complete! or else find some evidence of errors that happened during the backup process. If you can paste those log entries here, we can investigate further and get you all fixed.
July 21, 2022 at 12:37 pm in reply to: Drop-down menu obscured by video in Crio WordPress theme #55444Brandon CKeymasterThank you Taki!
I went ahead and tested that in our dev environment and I couldn’t replicate your issue using the page HMTL. Are you using a custom header in your theme? If so, can you send the HTML for that as well so that we can inspect that as well?
July 21, 2022 at 11:26 am in reply to: Drop-down menu obscured by video in Crio WordPress theme #55441Brandon CKeymasterHi Taki,
Thank you for reaching out with your Crio Pro WordPress theme questions!
I took a moment to inspect your website and I see exactly what you mean here. Could you please click to edit this page and switch to your “text” editor and copy all the HTML you see there and paste it into the forum here?
We would like to inspect your code in a testing environment to see if we can get it functioning properly for you.
We look forward to hearing from you!
July 21, 2022 at 11:19 am in reply to: How do I change the blue background on my Crio theme home page? #55439Brandon CKeymasterHi Shari,
Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!
I inspected your homepage at the URL you linked in the thread and I do not see the blue background so I’m assuming you were able to resolve this on your own. We do have a guides on how to change header background colors in Crio and working with backgrounds in Post and Page Builder in case you run into any more trouble.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.
July 20, 2022 at 8:08 am in reply to: How do I control font globally in my Crio WordPress theme #55402Brandon CKeymasterHey Sixto,
I definitely understand, building WordPress can be difficult at first but believe me it gets much easier as you learn more.
If you would like to take this approach we have a guide that will show you how to do just that. You will of course need a basic understanding of CSS.
Please let us know if you have any other questions Sixto!
Brandon CKeymasterHi Sixto,
Ah yes, I think I know what’s going on here. You have extra padding added to your element here so that it displays properly on larger screen sizes. What you should do is use the responsive utilities in Post and Page Builder in order to create a new element and hide your original element on smaller screen sizes and display a modified version.
I hope this helps Sixto!
Brandon CKeymasterHi Sixto!
Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions!
The auto-hyphen feature is something that is native to your theme but you can easily change that with some custom CSS. We have a guide on how to change the auto-hyphens function that explains just how to do this
I hope that information helps you get your fonts behaving as expected Sixto! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Brandon CKeymasterHi Alex,
Thanks for reaching out, although I’m not sure you’ve reached the correct support. While BoldGrid makes the software that you use to build your website, such as our Crio Pro WordPress theme and BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress, we do not maintain or support any security or social media plugins.
You may want to reach out to “Loginizer Security” on this matter or the support line for the social media plugin in question.
I hope this helps.
Brandon CKeymasterHi Sixto,
When you add a tag of the same name as your previously created tags it will automatically add that post to that particular tags archive.
Brandon CKeymasterHi Isabelle,
Thanks so much for reaching out, I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble changing the background image on your homepage.
.
I’m not familiar with your the WordPress theme you’re currently using but I’m thinking the homepage “add background” is likely native to the theme and not the BoldGrid Post and Page Builder. You may want to reach out to the theme developer or review their documentation on how to add a background image to your homepage.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.
Brandon CKeymasterHi Lynsay,
We do no have a phone number but we can answer any of your Cloud WordPress questions right here in the forum. That includes questions about Crio Pro WordPress theme and BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!
We look forward to hearing from you!
July 15, 2022 at 10:40 am in reply to: Donation Platform for WooCommerce not aligning properly with Crio and Post and Page Builder #55304Brandon CKeymasterThanks John,
I see you’ve switched to the Astra theme but I’m taking note of this issue. We will spin this up in a testing environment and possibly get a patch in to our developers to modify the template if needed.
Thanks so much for you input.
July 15, 2022 at 10:37 am in reply to: How do I control font globally in my Crio WordPress theme #55302Brandon CKeymasterThanks Sixto,
If you’re not using a global font you would need to select each paragraph element and add the font properties individually.
You could also create a custom CSS class for your section fonts and add it under the Advanced Controls < Custom CSS Classes setting of the section containing your paragraphs.
Brandon CKeymasterThanks Sixto,
You can use the tags you’ve set in the Post < Tags to tag your content, you’d just need to separate each tag using a comma “,”. The Tags taxonomy doesn’t have the same drop-down structure as the “Category” taxonomy but you may be able to use a plugin like Simple Tags to make them easier to implement.
As far as displaying tags on your page if you’ve reached the Appearance < Design < Blog < Posts section of your dashboard then there are two more steps Links < Tags
So the full navigation should be Appearance < Design < Blog < Posts < Links < Tags . And you’ll have the ability to set its display the “show”
I hope this helps. I apologize if it seems a bit confusing.

July 15, 2022 at 9:56 am in reply to: How can I reset my old password and access my WordPress site? #55294Brandon CKeymasterHi Daniel,
Thanks for reaching out. While BoldGrid makes the software that you use to build your website, we don’t have any access to your website to be able to tell your password or email address used.
We do have a detailed guide on 5 different ways you can reset your password, including several that you can use without knowing the email address.
It looks like you’re using one of our Premium WordPress hosting partners, InMotion Hosting. Their support team can offer you assistance logging back into WordPress, and they can also tell you about your site’s IP address as well. Right now your site is resolving to 199.250.205.216 . You can find InMotion’s support options here.
I hope this helps!

July 15, 2022 at 8:53 am in reply to: Storj compatibility with Total Upkeep backups and migrations plugin #55286Brandon CKeymasterHi Annie,
Thanks for reaching out, we are more than happy to answer your Total Upkeep questions!
I’m not familiar with Storj itself, but you can also use Total Upkeep Premium for any S3-Compatible storage service.
You can set up your S3-Compatible storage service by navigating to Total Upkeep > Settings > Backup Storage and selecting the option to Configure DreamObjects. From there, you’ll just need your Access Key and Secret, as well as the hostname of your storage, and you’ll be able to store your backups there.
In order to change this for your backups, navigate to Total Upkeep > Settings > Backup Storage and click on the Update link next to FTP. From here, you’ll be able to change the connection type fro Auto to Passive. Also double-check that you’re using FTP and Port 21.
I hope this helps! Please don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions for us.
Brandon CKeymasterHi Annie,
Thank you for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear you’re having a bit of trouble but let’s see if we can help you out.
The FTP remote storage settings for our WordPress backup plugin has a field in there titled Folder Name and you can configure a unique folder for each of your websites to use for backup storage. You can locate the FTP storage settings by navigating to Total Upkeep > Settings > Backup Storage in your WordPress dashboard and then click the Configure/Update link next to the FTP/SFTP option. The Folder Name field is just below FTP Username and FTP Password.
The Folder Name option in the FTP settings only allows you to specify a single folder to use for storing backups and unfortunately does not accept inputs for nested folders.
One thing you could try though is creating a separate FTP account for your web server that uses the /backup folder as its home directory and use that account to manage the FTP uploads. That way you will be able to supply site1 in the Folder Name field and ensure that it exists as a subdirectory of the /backup folder in your web server’s file system.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions for us!
July 15, 2022 at 8:31 am in reply to: Is there a way to recover unsaved content that I have created? #55280Brandon CKeymasterHi Lyndsay,
Thanks you for reaching out with your Cloud WordPress questions, although I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost your content.
There are ways to recover unsaved content but it can depend on, what you are trying to recover, how the content was created, and if you have any backup/recovery tools in place.
I always suggest saving/publishing content after even small changes on single post and pages to prevent such matters. This way each time you save/publish your changes are logged as revisions which you can revert back to when needed.
For full site backups you can use our Total Upkeep backups and migrations plugin.
If you can tell us exactly what type of content you are trying to recover we can hopefully give you more suggestions on how to go about it.
We hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder!
I’m sorry to hear you’re having a bit of trouble with your WooCommerce button alignment but let’s see if we can help you out.
I inspected your page and the see the “Donate” buttons seem to have a bit of padding shifting them to the left, is that what you’re having trouble with?
We look forward to hearing from you and helping you to resolve this matter.
