Hello Andrey,
Thank you for reaching out!
W3 Total Cache Pro licenses are valid on a per-install basis, meaning you need one for every WordPress instance you run. If you have three separate websites, you will need three licenses in total—one for each site. If you have five sites in a WordPress multisite instance, you need just one license for all five sites. If you are interested in bulk licensing, please email us for more information.
We are offering plans for a bulk of 5 and 10 activations. Thanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to answer.
Yes, you need a W3 Total Cache Pro license to use DB Cluster.
The button issue for a single-blog setup is still not fixed, unfortunately, however, It should work if the file is placed in WP_CONTENT_DIR . ‘/db-cluster-config.php’.
there should be a DB cluster word in the footer comment
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Melyssa,
Thank you for your feedback.
Yes, you should use a caching plugin to serve cached pages for the users, and make sure that the Browser Cache is enabled, so it’s always recommended to use W3 Total Cache. Depending on the website some advanced features like Minify or Object Caching can also help. YOu should not rely on your server to serve the website as fast as you can, so W3 Total Cache is the way to go.
To answer your questions:- W3 Total Cache does not set any cookies
- Most of the plugins for cookies and cookie banners are compatible with the W3 Total Cache so there are no compatibility issues.
- No, W3 Total Cache does not affect any cookies set or shown in Chrome developer tools
I am not sure what is the problem with the Maintenance Pro however, you can temporarily disable W3TC to confirm that there are some compatibility issues.

There should be no issues with installing and using W3 Total Cache when the website is password protected as long as the permissions allow W3TC to write in those directories, for example, the .htaccess file creates a /cache/ folder, etc.
W3 Total Cache does not use or collect website visitors’ data and is fully GDPR compliant.
As for the CDN, this is the option in the W3 Total Cache. However, you also need to be signed up with a CDN provider, for example, Stackpath. Please check more about this in our article.I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Florian,

In W3 Total Cache Performance>Page Cache, there is a “Late initialization” setting. This is available with Disk: Basic or any memory-based caching.
Have you tried enabling this and see if it helps!?
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Jon,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
In W3 Total Cache Performance>Page Cache settings, there is a sub-option called Aliases where you can specify full home URLs of your mirrors so that the plugin will flush it’s cache when content is changed. For example http://my-site.comhttp://www.my-site.comhttps://my-site.com
Try adding the URLs to the Additional home URLs: field and let me know if it helps! Thanks!

Can you please disable the settings one by one in W3 Total Cache Performance>general settings, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled and see which one might be causing the issue?
Thanks!

Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello,
I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
I can confirm that W3 Total Cache is not a virus, and 1.5 million installs can confirm this also. I’ve checked your website and I can see it’s loading fine at the moment.
CI can also see that you are using some other optimization plugin, and the most likely problem can be the conflict with some other optimization plugin.
Can you please confirm if you’ve had any plugins installed before W3TC for the optimization?

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please clarify, if you are referring to the W3 Total Cache plugin? Can you also please describe the steps to reproduce the problem or share any screenshots of the issue?
I’ve checked your website and I do not see the W3 Total Cache enabled there. Thanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Mike,

Can you please drop us a note directly via the W3 Total Cache support channel within the plugin in Performance>Support>Billing, or via the website contact form?
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Peter,
Thank you for your feedback.
This means that W3TC is not calling a purge.
Please drop us a note via the plugin in Performance>Support with the reference of this topic, and I’ll share a code that you can use to block 3rd-party plugins/themes to call the purge_allThanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Peter,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
This may be called by some other plugins as well, depending on a theme or the plugins you are using. Since you are updating a product category, there is a chance that woocommerce is calling flush_all.
The W3 Total Cache only purges the page that is updated.
To confirm this, please disable all purge settings in the Performance>Page Cache>Purge policy and let me know if the problem persists.
If the issue persists, it means that 3rd party plugin//them is calling the purge and we have a programmatic solution for this. Thanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Michael,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
This is not a bug, it’s a feature! 🙂
In W3 Total Cache, all silencers are there by intent.
For example, unlinks may try to remove the already removed file by another thread 1ms ago.
Removing will cause more harm to runtime operations than profit. This is also the case for mkdir. Also, any deeper checks in that critical place will affect performance.
No simple solution here, however, it makes sense of course that you reported this. Thanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Marc,
Sorry for the late reply.
There is no option to do this via the wp-config.php file. You can try is adding db-config.php
Please check more details on our wiki page.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Pascal,
Thank you for reaching out!
Since this is a public forum, I’ve removed all sensitive information from your post. I’ve managed to find the subscriptions and you used the PayPal email instead of those mentioned in the email to purchase W3 Total Cache Pro.
I’ve sent the invoices to the emails provided.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Stephanie,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
You can call the W3 Total Cache function w3tc_dbcache_flush(); to purge the DB cache. You can also use wp_cli and call wp w3-total-cache flush database. Thanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Wolfgang,
You are most welcome!
We would really appreciate it if you could take a minute and post a review here. This will help us to continue offering a top-notch product to users.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Wolfgang,
In the screenshot, I’ve shared you can see that the image BP-01.jpg is served as webp.
This is how webp conversion works.
All images converted with the Image Service tool are sent to a third-party server maintained by the W3 Total Cache team which reduces resource consumption and allows for a large number of conversions in environments where resources can be limited such as shared hosting. Images sent to the W3TC server for conversion are only held temporarily and no permanent information is kept on the server regarding the images.WebP optimizations with the Image Service tool do not replace the original image file and all conversions can be reverted without any loss of data.
As you can see in the “Type” section, the image type is webp, which indicates that the image is converted.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Wolfgang,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
I’ve checked your website and I can see that the images are converted to webp by W3 Total Cache Image service
I did not want to share the parts of the screenshot where the URL is visible, so I am sharing the part of the BP home furnishing page where you can see that the images are served as webp
If you are not seeing images converted, can you please share the URL of the image that you are seeing not served as webp?
