Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Mark,
Thank you for your inquiry about W3 Total Cache Pro and I am happy to answer.
We are not offering any trials at the moment but you are welcome to purchase the license and test for yourself.
As the description for the WPML extension says, it improves the caching performance of websites localized by WPML. Localization, in this case, is the adaptation of a product or service to meet the needs of a particular language.
In terms of the WPML, the extension ensures that once minify is enabled, all other languages will have the assets minified and compressed and therefore optimized and reducing the response time.
Thanks!April 22, 2021 at 4:27 am in reply to: PHP 7.4 Content Encoding Error with gzip compression enabled #36474Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Aaron,
Thank you for reaching out and thanks for choosing W3 Total Cache.
As I’ve mentioned in the topic you opened in wp.org, there are no issues with gzip compression in PHP 7.4 with W3TC.
Most likely you have a double compression, meaning the gzip is enabled on the server or Zlib compression, or with some other plugin.
I’ve checked this on a couple of websites on PHP 7.4 + and there are no issues whatsoever with the gzip compression.
Thanks!April 22, 2021 at 4:24 am in reply to: W3 Total Cache prevents me from logging into dashboard #36471Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Gary,
Thanks for reaching out, and for choosing W3 Total Cache.
As I’ve mentioned in wp.org https://wordpress.org/support/topic/w3-total-cache-prevents-me-from-logging-into-dashboard/
This suggests that maybe during the updated the mentioned file got corrupted somehow.
I would advise completely removing W3 Total Cache and re-installing:
1. Purge Cache
2. Deactivate and Delete Plugin
3. Check .htaccess File (make a backup)
W3TC will create many directives in the .htaccess file to control the caching behavior. Each section will start and end with comments like “#BEGIN W3TC Page Cache core” and “#END W3TC Page Cache core”.
Ensure that no residual entries are leftover in your .htaccess file after deleting the plugin.
4. Delete wp-content files and folders
– cache folder
– w3tc-config folder
– object-cache.php (if exists)
– advanced-cache.php (if exists)
– dbcache.php (if exists)
– upgrade folder
– delete w3-total-cache folder in wp-content/plugins/ (if exists)
5. Delete Cached Files from CDN (if using CDN)
Besides deleting all the relevant files, if you use CDN then ensure to purge the cached content from your CDN. This is necessary when you enabled minify option in W3TC settings. You should delete the minified and combined scripts and CSS files from your CDN server to avoid the site breaking on the browser.
6. Go to your wp dashboard and re-install W3 Total CacheThanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello René,
Thank you for reaching out, and thanks for choosing W3 Total Cache.
The options you provided in the second screenshot are correct.
However, as you mentioned, if the Browser Cache is not enabled in Performance>General settings, then those options will have no effect.
So you need to address the question to your hosting provider and ask to add the rules for expires header and cache-control for JS and CSS files, or you can ask them to disable and remove any rules on the server so that the W3 Total Cache Browser Cache module can handle everything.
Thank you!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Mitchell,
You can check our services within the plugin in Performance>Support.
I recommend a Performance Audit solution for this. If the plugin is removed and you are unable to visit the mentioned page please check out this link.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterApril 12, 2021 at 9:17 am in reply to: WPCF7 does not complete (spinning wheel) on mobile devices #35995Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Maarteen,
Thank you for the information and I am glad you managed to find the source of the issue.
Yes, deferring the scripts is awesome, however, some scripts do not agree with this. The only way to keep deferring and also keep the wheel not constantly spinning is to exclude that specific JS from being minified in Performance>Minify>Advanced>”Never Minify following JS files”
I would suggest reaching out to the support of the CF7 and ask which files is responsible for that and add it to the mentioned field, for example:
/wp-content/plugins/contact-form7/js/spinning-wheel.js
Please note that the above path is just an example.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Mary,
Thank you for reaching out and thanks for using W3 Total Cache. I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing.
The compatibility check does not have anything to do with this. It’s only showing available modules.
As for your issue, I can see that the W3TC is currently active on your website, can you confirm that you are still experiencing the issue?
Can you please share the screenshot of the error you are seeing?
Have you tried switching to the default 2020 theme and see if the issue persists?
Thanks!April 9, 2021 at 10:58 am in reply to: WPCF7 does not complete (spinning wheel) on mobile devices #35912Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Marteen,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy about the issue you are experiencing.
I’ve checked your website and as I can see the W3 Total Cache is active.
I’ve tested the form and submitted the test on the contact form and I got the success message as you can see in the screenshot. The same is when trying from the desktop.
Can you please double-check this and let me know if the issue is still there?
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Angelica,
The message you are seeing means that your files/folder permission needs to be changed on a server level. It should be for folders 755 and files 644.
Now since your website is hosted on a siteground please note that they have their own caching system and you should reach out to your hosting provider to see if you can use W3TC besides their caching system and to help you with updating the .htaccess and changing the files/folder permission.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Angelica,
I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help.
To confirm, you are having issues adding new plugins while W3 Total Cache is activated?
WHich instructions have you been following to fix the mistakes? Also, which updates in .htaccess you have made, and when you say they cannot be saved, can you please clarify that? Are the changes in .htaccess are not being saved or you are getting some error?
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Francesco,
Thanks for reaching out, and for your purchase of W3 Total Cache Pro.

Thank you for reaching out, and for your purchase of W3 Total Cache Pro.
Please contact us directly via the website and provide information (latest invoice, PayPal transaction ID, or the license key) so we can find your subscription and provide assistance with this.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Frank,
Thank you for your inquiry, and thanks for using W3 Total Cache. I am happy to assist you with this.
This is an external resource so it’s coming from Cloudflare.
The jquery Cookie is a simple, lightweight jQuery plugin for reading, writing, and deleting cookies. This does not mean that this is a cookie per se. I would suggest reaching out to Cloudflare support for more information about that resource and how to disable it if you want to do so.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Laura,
Thanks for reaching out.
Yes W3 Total Cache adds files and rules so that caching and the plugin can be used properly.
W3 Toal Cache adds the following:
1.define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); // Added by W3 Total Cache
– this is important for Page Caching so if the constant is not added there will be no caching. All Caching plugins are adding the same constant.
2. in wp-content folder:advance-cache.php
(for Page Cache),object-cache.php
(If object caching is enabled),db.php
(if Database caching is enabled).
3.wp-content/w3tc-config/
– This is where the configuration of the plugin is stored in the file calledmaster.php
4. W3 Total Cache also creates a/cache/
folder in wp-content – The cached files are stored in that folder and served to visitors of the website.
5. W3 Total Cache is also adding the rules in.htaccess/nginx.conf
(mostly Browser Cache) depending on the settings enabled.I am not sure what is the specific issue you are experiencing, however, there is a possibility of a conflict with some other plugin. I have a couple of websites on HostGator and W3 Total Cache installed and there are no issues on those websites.
Thank you!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Eric,
Thank you for reaching out, and thanks for using W3 Total Cache.
Can you please share the website URL so I can check this?
Also, please make sure that the CDN is respecting the existing headers, and that you are not using any other custom .htaccess/nginx rules for the cache control.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Giada,
I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing using W3 Total Cache.
Try the following:
3. Check .htaccess File (make a backup)
W3TC will create many directives in the .htaccess file to control caching behavior. Each section will start and end with comments like “#BEGIN W3TC Page Cache core” and “#END W3TC Page Cache core”.
Ensure that no residual entries are leftover in your .htaccess file after deleting the plugin.
2. Delete wp-content files and folders
– cache folder
– w3tc-config folder
– object-cache.php (if exists)
– advanced-cache.php (if exists)
– db.php (if exists)
– upgrade folder
– delete w3-total-cache folder in wp-content/plugins/ (if exists)
3. Delete Cached Files from CDN (if using CDN)
Besides deleting all the relevant files, if you use CDN then ensure to purge the cached content from your CDN. This is necessary when you enabled the minify option in W3TC settings. You should delete the minified and combined scripts and CSS files from your CDN server to avoid the site breaking on the browser.
4. Make sure you are not using any other caching layer (server-side caching or any other plugin)
I hope this helps!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHi Salik,
Thank you for your inquiry and I a happy to assist you with this.
W3 Total Cache also has an X-Frame-Options in Performance>Browser Cache>Security Headers and you can choose the directive.
Can you please confirm if the option is enabled as it may be causing conflict with your directive?
Also can you please share the website URL and how you added the directive (.htaccess/nginx)?
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Elliot,
Thank you for reaching out, and for using W3 Total Cache Pro.
You only need one license. Once you configure the plugin on the dev environment remove the license key from Performance>General settings, Licensing sub-box, license field and save all settings in the dev website. Re-enter the license in production, verify the license with the “verify license button” and save all settings.W3 Total Cache Pro should be active after these steps!
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Vadym,
I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
When did you start to experience this issue?
Have you made any recent updates or similar? Have you tried purging the cache and see if the issue persists?
The “Skip to content” comes from your theme and is often hidden from view and used as an accessibility enhancement that lets keyboard users and screen readers jump from the top of the page to the content without having to go through other elements on the page first. So most likely the page was cached and purging the cache should solve this.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Ahmad,
We are not offering any coupons for a single license at the moment.
If you are interested in bulk licensing, please email us for more information.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHi Fahad,
Can you please share which settings you have enabled in Performance>General settings?
Have you tried disabling minify (if enabled) and see if the issue persists?
It would be great if you could share the website URL and please feel free to drop us a note via the plugin in Performance>Support.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Fahad,
I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Since you have not shared the website URL can you please provide the screenshots of the mentioned issues like the plugin needs to update and the ajax errors?
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Brian,
Can you please disable the settings one by one in Performance>general settings, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled, and see which one might be causing the issue? Thanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello,
Thank you for your question and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please share more details? Are you referring to this topic/thread?
Thanks!March 19, 2021 at 1:39 pm in reply to: BoldGrid Connect Premium License not unlocking W3 Total Cache. #35182Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Sean,
Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to answer.
W3 Total Cache is a separate plugin and Premium BoldGrid Connect does not include W3 Total Cache Pro.
As a separate plugin, it requires a separate license.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Mateusz,
W3 Total Cache Pro licenses are valid on a per-install basis, meaning you need one for every WordPress instance you run. If you have three separate websites, you will need three licenses in total — one for each site. If you have five sites in a WordPress multisite instance, you need just one license for all five sites. If you are interested in bulk licensing, please email us for more information.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Celine,
Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
You can usew3tc_flush_all
You can check more functions inwp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/w3-total-cache-api.php
In this case the function:/** * Purges/Flushes everything */ function w3tc_flush_all( $extras = null ) { $o = \W3TC\Dispatcher::component( 'CacheFlush' ); $o->flush_all( $extras );
Thanks!
March 16, 2021 at 5:46 am in reply to: Caching causing animated items to not load until cache flushed? #35039Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHell Jared,
Does the issue occur again after the cache is cleared?
How often do you see the issue happens?
MOst likely this was a temporary hiccup until the files are uploaded and served from the CDN.
I’ve checked your website and I am not seeing any issues at the moment.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Pernando,
We received your email and replied to it. Please follow the instructions provided and continue the correspondence via the support channel so we can avoid duplicating the answers.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Dominique,
Thank you for the information and the Dev team is doing the best it can.
Please understand that the issue is related to specific themes/plugins.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello James,
I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing when upgrading the W3TC and I am happy to assist you with this.
What you can do is to make a backup of wp-content/w3tc-config/master.php and completely remove and re-install W3 Total Cache following the instructions below:
1. Purge Cache
6. Go to your wp dashboard and re-install W3 Total Cache
7. copy and paste the backup of master.php to wp-content/w3tc-config/Alternatively, you can try upgrading the plugin to 2.1.1, download the latest version from here and copy the \w3-total-cache\lib\Minify\Minify\HTMLTidy.php from the downloaded folder into /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/Minify/Minify/
I hope this helps!
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Lian,
Thank you for the information.
Glad to know the issue is resolved!

Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
This means that the memory_limit of 128M is being exhausted. There is no particular reason why this happens with the role other than Administrator.
What you should do is to increase the memory limit
To increase the PHP memory limit setting, edit your PHP.ini file. Increase the default value (example: Maximum amount of memory a script may consume = 128MB) of the PHP memory limit line in php.ini.memory_limit = 256M
Alternatively, you can edit your .htaccess file (Not recommended see: Apache Performance: Disable .htaccess)php_value memory_limit 256M
If you don’t have access to these files or lack the experience to make this change, you can contact your web host and ask them to increase your PHP memory limit.Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Lian,
I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
I’ve checked your website and I am not seeing any issues, or better said, I don’t know how it supposes to look like.
Can you please disable the settings one by one in Performance>general settings, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled, and see which one might be causing the issue?
If for example minify is causing the issue, re-enable minify, and disable the settings in Performance>minify one by one (HTML minify, JS minify, CSS minify) and see which one might be causing the issue.
Make sure to save all settings and purge the cache after each option is disabled.
Thanks!Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Mike.

Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Mike,
Thank you for the information.
Does this always happen when logged in or have you checked when logged out from the wp-admin?
Thanks!
Marko VasiljevicKeymasterHello Anna,
Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
Ah yes, the PHPSESSID. This makes caching a lot harder. Make sure that caching is disabled to logged-in users in Performance>Page Cache “Don’t cache pages for logged in users”
You can also add PHPSESSID in Performance>Page Cache>Advanced>Reject Cookies filed, save all settings and purge the cache.
Thanks!
