How to Make a Post Stick to the Front Page in Gutenberg

Note that the Gutenberg editor has been integrated directly into the WordPress Administrator dashboard as of WordPress version 5.0. It is now the default WordPress editor.

The option to make a post remain at the top of the list is also know as making a post “sticky.”  Follow the tutorial below to understand how to make a post stick to the front page in the WordPress editor.

1. Login to your WordPress Administrator Dashboard.
2. Open an existing draft of a page or post in the editor. You can also create a new page or post. Click on Document and then click on Status & Visibility.
3. When you have finished creating or editing your post, you can make it sticky by clicking on the slider labeled Stick to the Front Page.
4. Click on Update or Publish in the top right corner to save your post.
