Week in Review — WordCamp for Publishers: Denver
Blog, WordCamps
This weekend in Denver we attended the first-ever WordCamp for Publishers. BoldGrid proudly sponsored the event and we had a booth. MikeDemo and Teresa (one of our outstanding support managers) attended on our behalf.
They arrived Wednesday to get set up at the Denver Post building in Downtown Denver. When the event started on Thursday, our dynamic duo felt ready to connect with all of the great attendees. As with any WordCamp, the crowd consisted of many great people, eager to share their passion for WordPress while learning about innovative products like BoldGrid and networking with others in the community.

Perhaps not surprisingly, many of the people with whom MikeDemo and Teresa connected had never before attended a WordCamp. In fact, Teresa herself had never previously been:"Boldgrid of the House WordPress, First of its Name, Builder of Sites and Parent of Dragons"

When I was asked if I wanted to attend [WordCamp for Publishers: Denver] I was excited about the opportunity. I have never before attended a WordCamp event. During the conference I got to work at the BoldGrid booth, meeting so many fascinating members of the WordPress community. This was awesome. I learned so much about how BoldGrid works for our users, the benefits of its plugins, and the innovative ways people have deployed it for their sites. It was great to interact with the attendees and sponsors of WordCamp for Publishers: Denver. Everyone is there to learn, provide information, and have fun in an exciting high tech environment. Thank you to the BoldGrid team for the opportunity to represent the company! The last normal day of the event took place Friday, but the fun had not yet ended. After wrapping up on the exhibition floor, MikeDemo and Teresa attended an afterparty at Wynkoop Brewing Company. This great venue provided guests with a really cool party room; a great place to network and unwind. The location had a particular significance for our BoldGrid team, as well: we hosted our own event there in 2016 during WordCamp Denver. As always, our team had a great time and hope for more niche focused WordCamps like this one in the future. In Denver but missed us last weekend?
