Ability to name Cloud WordPress Installs

harry 6 years ago updated by Harry J (Products Manager) 6 years ago 3

When using multiple Cloud WordPress installs in BoldGrid Central, it is hard to keep track of which installation correlates to the site I want to work on. The ability to set a name for them would be a great feature to implement.

Gallery Plug In Enhancement Request

Tim McKay 7 years ago updated by Harry J (Products Manager) 6 years ago 2

Requesting an enhancement for the Gallery Plug-In. It would be great to be able to directly control the color of the caption text as well as the background color of the text box. As-is, the linking of the text/background color to the global theme colors has limited the ability to get a very clean look (e.g, white background, black text). Also, would be nice to control caption alignment (center, left, right). Thanks for considering.

Adjusting robots.txt using the SEO Plugin

Harry J (Products Manager) 7 years ago updated by support (Support) 7 years ago 2

I would like to have the ability to modify my robots.txt file using the BoldGrid SEO Plugin. I currently have to use another plugin for this, and it would be great to have this feature without adding an additional plugin.

I Think you guys should add a background remover feature for cx's with very little graphic design background they can take there image/logo and remove background to add in the header so it flows with their site and looks clean

There are plenty of android apps out there that do this but to add this feature would be extremely helpful and i can remove photoshop or other photo editing apps from my workflow and focus on being in one environment

Ability to cancel subscription and request for refund through BoldGrid Central.

kaizenberg inbox 7 years ago updated by support (Support) 7 years ago 1

There is only payment option but no cancellation or refund request option. Be fair with customer. Also help material is worse than 3rd world. So you have a lot of ground to cover in terms of ethics.

Ability to add attributions to images that I upload to wordpress

professortechie 7 years ago updated by support (Support) 7 years ago 1

Hello, I'm back again with another request.

I would like to add attributions to images that I've personally uploaded to the WordPress media library. Currently any images added through the "Boldgrid Connect Search" have attributions automatically added to the "Special Thanks" page/link in the footer (this is a feature I LOVE!).

However, when I upload an image that I did not find in "Boldgrid Connect Search", that requires attribution, I have to find a way to add it myself. In addition, the attribution I add is inevitably going to be in a different location, thereby splitting my attributions for images. I feel this is a problem as CC licensing requires that I make the attribution easy to find.

I would like to have a feature added that when I upload an image, there is a line under "Attachment details" (AKA Image details) where I can add the attribution. Also for contents of this line to be added to the "Special Thanks" page to keep my page in good legal standing.

Thank you so much for time and effort spent on this project. It's really been a life saver.

Regards, James

When inserting an iframe I need a way to control the vertical size of the paragraph it is within.

Todd R 7 years ago updated by support (Support) 7 years ago 2

I am trying to insert the below and it displays, but creates a vertical scrollbar within the page. Probably a vertical size control on the paragraph would help solve it, but please see what you think.

The iframe code and in page look is here at http://toddrobinson.us/323-2/

UNDO button

David Woods 7 years ago updated by support (Support) 7 years ago 1

It would be useful to be able to back out experimental changes that were entered to see how they look.  I know there is a Preview button and that one can exit without saving, but UNDO would be a safety net.

Sitemap Functionality to the SEO plugin

professortechie 7 years ago updated by support (Support) 7 years ago 2

I love what you guys are doing with BoldGrid and hope you keep doing amazing things for years to come.

I would, however, like to see the SEO plugin have the option to automatically create a simple sitemap; based on your site's pages and blog posts. Nothing fancy like some plugins out there, just a plain xml sitemap located at "https://www.example.com/sitemap.xml".

Having a sitemap is extremely important for SEO with the major search engines.

Also making sure that the plugin adds "Sitemap: https://www.example/com/sitemap.xml" to the robots.txt file would be appreciated.

Thank you guys for all your hard work and I can't wait to see what comes next for BoldGrid

Regards, James

Back to Top Button

I'm trying to add a back to top button, but it doesn't appear that is something I can do.  Would like to see something like that added.
