Thank you for your feedback regarding the baseline optimizations, we always enjoy receiving ideas on how we can improve BoldGrid.
The premium WordPress hosting package from InMotion offers a customized server stack that helps to improve the delivery speed of website files, but it can be further improved by using caching software withing your website. Third party caching plugins are the best option to address these caching problems within the current BoldGrid framework, and I hope that we are able to add your requested features in an upcoming release.

The optimizations for JS and CSS files are not integrated into BoldGrid and WordPress currently, but there are resources available that will minify JS/CSS files and create page caches that might help to improve your website performance.
My suggestion is to try using a caching plugin, such as Comet Cache or W3 Total Cache, to address these problems and improve load times.

After further investigation it appears that this problem is not directly related to BoldGrid and appears across many different WordPress based websites.
The most common cause that I found appears to be related to an explicit setting of the Cookie Domain in the wp-config.php file. This seems to be something that is added by many caching plugins to increase website speed, but it also causes problems with the logging in. Look for the following line in your wp-config.php file and remove it.
define('COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.yourdomain.com');

The Premium Backup extension adds additional backup features and requires that the basic backup plugin is installed and activated to work properly. Here is a guide on how to install the backup plugin:

I am sorry that your macrons are not displaying properly in Internet Explorer. BoldGrid uses the standard Google Fonts library and I suggest reaching out to them for support on what can be done to make the fonts display properly in Internet Explorer. Once they are able to provide you with a solution we can help you get it implemented properly on your website.
