Comments on Pages
How can I enable comments on pages ? Even when I check the "allow comments" box they do not appear. Has BoldGrid somehow permanently disabled them?
They appear fine on posts, but never on pages.
Hello,
Thanks for the excellent question. Depending on which theme you're using, some themes do not include the ability to use comments on Pages by default. If you'd like to use this feature, I've created a simple plugin that will allow you to enable page comments.
In order to use it, download the zip file attached to this message below to your computer. Then, in your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Plugins -> Add New and then click the Upload Plugin button near the top of the page.

I got a notification from you to "Enable Fragment Cache Module to make sure Genesis Extension works properly." I have the Free version of W3 Total Cache. What do I do and how do I do it?

Pavilion Theme
The main menu icon for cell phones doesn't respond. Is there a fix to that?
Thanks for that!
I tested on Chrome for Android and Safari for iPhone, and I was able to open your menu on both of them, as well as see the CSS rule being implemented.
It's possible that your mobile has the CSS for the website cached, causing you to see the website without your new z-index rule.
Here's how to clear the cache on iPhone and how to clear the cache on Android.
Please let me know if you're still seeing the behavior after clearing your cache, and which broswer/device you're seeing the issue on.
Hello!
Thanks for the excellent question. You can use the WordPress Import/Export XML feature to export your Block Library as an XML file, and import them into your other sites.
Another great solution is our integration with Page Builder Cloud which lets you store your blocks in the cloud to be used with any of your sites.
I hope this helps!
An unknown tab is appearing on my page?
Hi Guys, can someone please help? I have a small white box with this text appearing on the live site (in main pic) and I am unable to locate it in the edit mode? It seems to be the same text as the bottom right of the page?

I am unable to upload the screen shot so here is what is in the box..
Table of Contents
On looking at that it seems to be some sort of contents sitemap for this page or am I wrong?, but why is it only appearing on this page? Anyway, need rid of it as it looks stupid.
Can I also make a suggestion that you add an upload facility to these questions as would make life a lot easier?
I have just found the source as it seems the insert table of contents was ticked.. Bit pointless having that option as it was really stupid looking
How to change the site-wide repeating template background image.
I have been working on my site and my admin team and I are unable to figure out a way to change the repeating background tile that transverses the entire site. We are using LINX as the primary but we would like to use our own tile as we dislike the gray color and would like a more parchment type color.
I was able to find this image in the CSS for the site but I am not very familiar with CSS and don't know how to replace that particular image.
.background-primary,
.site-content {
background: url("images/shadow.png") center 68px no-repeat,
url("images/concrete_seamless.png") repeat;
}
Is there an easier way to change this or can you provide instructions on a CSS method?
Thanks in advance.
Hello-
Thank you for the excellent question. You're right that the Linx Theme uses a hard-coded background pattern and I'm sorry that's giving you so much trouble.
Checking out your website, it looks like you may have already worked this out with the following code:
.page-template-page_home .entry-content, .post-title-hidden .site-content, .mce-content-body { background: url(images/shadow.png) center 0 no-repeat, url(images/tea-parchment-background.jpg) repeat; }
I recommend that you place this code into your Customize -> Advanced -> Custom JS & CSS menu, rather than directly into the theme code, but your solution looks like it's working.
Please write back if you need any additional help!

Paste this tag into the <head> section of your site’s index.html file
Can not find where the index.html file is.
Thank you for your question!
WordPress websites use .php template files to manage page content, and you can paste tags into the <head> section by editing the header.php file contained in your theme files.
Adding code to the header.php file is one way to get those tags working on your website, but there are some reasons to use a different solution to make those modifications. The biggest one is that any future theme updates will overwrite your customizations when applied and force you to add the code all over again.
You can avoid having to redo your work after every update by using a plugin to manage those code changes and this is one of the most popular options available in the WordPress repository.
I hope that this information helps you make the changes you need and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you!

Pixelated images once published
Hi - one of my posts has very pixelated images once published, although they are all high res (1-2MB). They look great in edit and preview modes, but terrible once published. I've never had this issue before. Thanks
Hi Caitlin-
When I check out that page, the images appear normal to me. Here's a screenshot:
The other images all appear normal as well. You may be seeing a cached version of smaller images in your web browser, so I'd recommend clearing your cache or checking it on another browser.
I hope this helps!
