Hi, I have an existing site that was created a couple of years ago. A couple of days ago, I went into my account to create a new site with different business topic. then I went back to update content on that existing site, but it can not be find. it is still hosted and I can see my site online. Did I over write it? how can I reload it back? I thought I was work on the new site within a new Sign-in Account. Please help. Thanks
Hello GigiT,
Thanks for the great question, I'm sorry you're having trouble finding your original site.
If I understand you correctly, did you use the "Start Over With a New Inspiration" function in BoldGrid Inspirations?
If that's the case, you can recover all of your content pages from your Trash. Navigate to Pages -> All Pages and click on Trash at the top. Hover over your pages, and click on Restore.
Alternatively, if you're using BoldGrid Backup you can restore one of your Backup Archives.
I hope this helps!
Hello,
Thanks for the great question. Because the content sliders are just another type of block, adding images to them is the same as adding an image anywhere in your page.
Locate the block that you'd like to place an image in, and then click the Add Media button.
Font color matches background color
Using Florentine theme. The font color of the price shown under each item on the shop page is almost identical with the background color. Same problem with "Get a shipping estimate" on the cart page. Both are barely readable. Any way to change those colors if you know nothing about coding? Site: missgeorgiascollectibles.com. Many thanks.
Hello,
Thanks for the great question- text color contrast is extremely important both from an aesthetic point of view, as well as user-experience and accessibility.
In order to change this, while you're viewing your shop page, click Customize from the top bar, then click Colors. Here you can change the color scheme of your entire site, but specifically, the third color is the one that controls the color of the prices.
I hope this helps!
New user not working
I just added a new user to my website and it seems like there are two accounts made with the new email, and the new user cannot log on to see the site I made! What can I do?
Hello, thanks for the great question. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your new user account.
In WordPress, it's not possible to have two separate users with the same email- the email is the "Unique Identifier" for user accounts.
If you still have access to another Administrator account, you can reset the password by visiting the Users -> All Users. On that screen, you'll be able to see your new users as well as the email address that is assigned to them. Hover over the username, click Edit, and scroll all the way down to create a new password for them.
If you don't have access to another administrator account, there are several ways to reset the password through other means.
I hope this helps!
DNS for domain host
I have just signed up to Boldgrid, and need to connect my domain host with the DNS. How do I get the DNS for Boldgrid?
Hello APMc,
I'm sorry that you're still having trouble with this, I'll do my best to try and explain more clearly.
WordPress and BoldGrid are the software that you use to create your website. You can run this software on any computer, but in order for other people to see the website you make using the software, that computer has to have an "address."
DNS is the way that the internet looks up your website's address, for example, your domain might "point" to an IP address like 1.2.3.4. So when your domain registrar is asking you to find the DNS, they're normally talking about either "Nameservers," or the actual IP address, so that they can "point" your domain toward the computer that has your website.
BoldGrid doesn't actually provide these computers, but our fantastic WordPress Hosting partners do. You can use any hosting provider you'd like however, these are just the ones we recommend.
Since you are a Premium customer, you get all of these features, including one-on-one support via your BoldGrid Central Account, so if you're still having trouble, feel free to reach out in a private ticket so we can give you more specific information.

Site Logo not centering
I upgraded to Callaway and now my site logo refuses to center on the page when opened in a full-size desktop browser.
Hello,
Thanks for the great question. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble centering your logo.
The Callaway Theme is designed with a right-side Logo, so it doesn't actually support being centered by default. However, you can accomplish this with a little bit of CSS in your Customize -> Advanced -> Custom CSS & JS menu.
First, you'll need to get the size of your logo from your Customize -> Site Title & Logo menu:
In this example, the Logo size is 220. Divide that number by half, in this case 110. Then add the following code to your Custom CSS:
.logo-site-title img {
display: block !important;
left: calc(50% - 110px);
}
Substitute half of your logo size for the "- 110px" portion, and your logo will be centered.
I hope this helps!
Hello,
Thank you for the great question, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble adding images to your sliders.
There are two different types of "Sliders" in the BoldGrid Framework, Image Gallery Sliders, as well as Slider Blocks.
On an Image Gallery Slider, click on the gallery and then the "Edit" button, that looks like a pencil. Then select "Add to Gallery" and choose the images.
On a Content Block Slider, you'll click on the "Slider" option from the top menu, then click Edit, then click New Slide:

Hello! Thanks for the excellent question.
WooCommerce has some really excellent directions here in their support documentation. I also found a very easy-to-follow tutorial here on woobeginner.com. PayPal also has some additional information about their developer mode.
I hope this helps!
Hello, thank you for the interesting question, I had to look this up myself!
There's a couple of ways you can do this using Custom CSS in your Customize -> Advanced -> Custom CSS & JS menu, but the only way I can think of to make sure that all of the email address links on your whole site do not have underlines:
a[href^="mailto"] { text-decoration: none; }
This rule will remove the underlines from any email address link on your website.
Please keep in mind that for accessibility purposes, it is generally frowned-upon to remove the underline from links on your website. The reasoning for this is that if a user visits your website who is not able to see color, the underline is the only recognizable indicator that text might is a link.
I hope this helps!
Hello,
Thanks for the great question. Since you're hosting with InMotion Hosting, your Premium BoldGrid Connect Key is already attached to the email address you used to sign up for your hosting service.
As long as you are logging into BoldGrid Central with the same email address, you'll see your website listed in the "Connected Websites" section:
