The problem you described can be related to a number of things. The first step I recommend is making sure all of your plugins, themes and core files are updated to their latest version. I also suggest making a backup of your website before running any of these updates in the unlikely event that something happens during the update process. That way, you will have something to restore from should any issues occur.
If the updates do not resolve the problem then please send us the Site Health information for your website so our team will have a better understanding of your configuration and hopefully find a solution.

Hi James,
The FTP option allows you to configure another server as the storage location for your backups and uses an FTP account to transfer backups automatically from your website's server to the storage location. Using this option will require two separate servers, so it might not be the best option to use since it requires that you have access to an additional server.
Amazon S3 is another solution you can use for remote storage, but that is also a Premium service that will require an additional purchase.
Google Drive is the remote storage option that I use the most since you can use it for free as long as you have a Gmail account. Google drive can be used to store up to 15 GB of data in free accounts and this is the option I recommend to use for remote storage. Configuring Google Drive is also the easiest of the 3 to do and all you need to do is login to your Google account when prompted during the set up process to authorize it as your remote storage location.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about setting up remote storage locations!
Hi James, thank you for contacting us!
Total Upkeep is recommending a remote storage location to help ensure that you have an available backup in the event of a catastrophic failure on your server, which could effect any backups stored locally. Failures of that magnitude are rare, but it never hurts to be prepared!
This guide from our Support Center demonstrates how you can use the tools provided in Total Upkeep Premium to configure remote storage locations for your backups.
I hope that the guide helps you get your remote locations configured and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to assist you.
Hi Kathleen, thank you for your question!
Our team is happy to answer any questions you have about working with your website.
The reason that you are seeing a display difference between the editing interface and the front end of your website is because of the available space that your page content has to stretch across. While editing a page there are a lot of other items on the screen that reduce the available area and there are some configurations that you can make to help make the displays more similar.
The first step is to use the Screen Options to change the editing panel to the one column display.
The next step is to collapse the dashboard menu.
Doing this will expand your editing interface and should help you create a consistent design across the two different displays. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to assist you, we are always happy to help!

Thank you for contacting us Chris and I am sorry to hear about the problems with the 404 errors on your category pages.
I have run into a similar problem myself on some of my own WordPress websites and I believe I know where the problem is coming from.
I saw this problem when using the category and postname in the Permalinks combined with using a period in the Category base.
The reason that the Category pages are showing the 404 error with this configuration is because the WordPress routing system doesn't know how to serve the category pages correctly since it thinks that they are static content, like Post and Pages, instead of being dynamic. The easiest way to fix this is to replace the period in the Category base field with anything else, or leave it blank and let the WordPress default setting take care of the rest.
I hope that this helps you get your Category pages working correctly and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to help!

Hi James,
The prompt from Total Upkeep to configure remote storage is just a suggestion and if you want to store your backups on your web server instead of using a remote location then there is no need to take the additional steps in getting it set up.
I created a feature request on your behalf with our development team to make that notice dismissible and I hope that they can get that implemented in a future release of Total Upkeep Premium.
Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to assist you.
